Chitral deer

Chitral deer (Axis axis) live in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, India. It is a particular species of deer. Deer are basically an adventitious mammal that includes the Cervidae family. Chitral deer are called by different names in different countries such as Maya Deer in Bangladesh, Heath Mova in Shinghaliz language in Sri Lanka, Ginki in Kannada, Puli Mann in Tamil and Malayalam, Dupi in Telugu, Futuki Deer in Assam and Harni in Hari or Harna. .

Their bodies are covered with reddish-brown or brownish-skinned skin, but the throat tail, the skin of the legs are white. There are small white spots on the brown or brown skin of the body that make them attractive. The reason for their christening name is because of the small spots.They have a dark gray line along their shoulders, with the back straight down to the tail. This line has white spots of white on it which make it very attractive for Chitral by going down a straight line. The line of male deer is darker than that of a female deer.






An adult image of a deer is 42 to 55 inches tall. The length of the tail is 8 to 12 inches. Weight ranges from 75 to 100 kg (165 to 220 lbs). Male deer have horns. Female deer have no horns. The horns are up to(22-75) inches in length. Many times they fights among themselves or run away and fall on a deer's horn stuck to a tree. Later on in the yard again.

Male deer grow larger than female deer (chitra deer). The neck of the male deer is slender and the chest is relatively inflamed. Male deer have dark markings on them, which can also determine their age.They walk in groups. They live mainly by eating grass, herbs, grass roots, bark and leaves.There is no specific time for breeding chitra deer, but when the surrounding areas become green and dense before the monsoon arrives, baby ropes are more abundant.

Chitra deer gives birth to baby after birth of 210-225 days. Mother Chitra Deer gives the baby deer breast milk for up to 6 months.

Chitra deer are aged between 14-17 months and male deer are 14 months old.They are more likely to prefer dense forests and tall grasslands. They are abundant in the forests of the Indian subcontinent. There are plenty of deer on Sundarbans, Nizhum Island in Bangladesh. Anybody can afford the deer if you want. It means better nutrition. Their average life expectancy is 8 to 10 years.
